Pin Traveler — About Us
Welcome to Pin Traveler! We are a travel map app that helps you track the places you've visited and the memories you've made around the world.
We like to think ourselves as a digital manifestation of the classic travel maps, fridge magnets, travel journals, and other memoribilia that travelers have used for centuries to document their journeys.
Thank you for being a part of our community! We hope you enjoy using Pin Traveler as much as we enjoy building it.
Who are we?
We are two high-school friends Mehmet Can (on the left) and Cem (right). We hail from Istanbul, Turkey but we travel a lot, and have been living in the US for the last several years.
We started building Pin Traveler in 2018 as a side project during our college years. In our first month, we got 46 sign ups (outside of friends and family) which at the time felt huge! We have come a long way since then but Pin Traveler is still a passion project for us. We're still a team of two, and we are so thrilled that we get to share this passion with all of you!
